The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Battle Edition is a cheaper, multiplayer and Blackout only version

For ages, I’ve been hoping that Activision would break the game up and sell its bits individually. As somebody who doesn’t play the multiplayer at all, but adores Zombies and single player, I’d happily pay less to receive just the bits of Call of Duty that I enjoy playing. While they’re not quite there yet, Activision has released a version of Black Ops 4 on PC that removes Zombies from the mix.

The disappointment from Activision over current Destiny 2: Forsaken sales isn’t shared by Bungie, as game director Luke Smith took to Twitter to let fans know that the current loot 'n shoot formula won’t be changed up to earn more quick cash so that Activision’s shareholders can be appeased.

Destiny 2 is getting a much-needed performance upgrade on console

From the main menu to a quick toggle on the inventory screen, Destiny 2 can be tortuously unrushed in bringing up essential data for Guardians. It’s not game-breaking stuff, but it’s hella annoying at times when you need to make adjustments on the fly to your character. Fortunately, it’s an area that will soon be retuned when season 5 kicks off and begins the Black Armory campaign.

Despite a killer month on the charts, Activision still isn’t happy with Destiny 2 sales

Destiny 2 players are happier than ever. That surge in joy could be seen in sales numbers for the game as well, as Destiny 2 was offered for free in September over on PS Plus, resulting in plenty of purchases of its expansion content. Heck, Destiny 2 was pretty much the top-grossing console game of the month, beating even the mighty Fortnite. It apparently wasn’t enough for Activision.

Treyarch addresses Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII Blackout server issues in South Africa and South America

By Darryn Bonthuys

There’s a lot to love about Call of Duty Black Ops IIII. It’s fast, the emphasis on multiplayer has made it more polished than ever and Blackout is a pitch perfect combination of battle royale ideas and Call of Duty’s own legacy. What the Blackout part of the game certainly isn’t right now, is anywhere near playable if you happen to live south of the equator, with many South American and South African players complaining lately of being unable to join any games in a variety of modes.
