If Anthony Mackies' claims are to be believed, we could still be seeing a whole lot more of him in the MCU movie franchise.

Local weekend box office report 21 - 23 June 2019: After four weeks at the top Disney's Aladdin has finally been kicked off the top spot by Toy Story 4, as newcomers barely made a blip.

Avengers: Endgame. It's right there in the name. This was the end of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe's 10-year long story up until that point. It certainly was for the individual storylines of several of our favourite Marvel superheroes. And yet, it isn't. Not really.

If you thought there was no way any Marvel film could live in the wake of Endgame, it turns out you'd be wrong if these early reactions are anything to go by.

Avengers: Endgame is tantalisingly close to dethroning king Avatar though, and Disney knows this. The house of mouse is hellbent on taking the crown away from Avatar, and even though it has been two months since the film came out, they’re going for broke at cinemas once again.

Weekend box office report 14 - 16 June 2019: Another terrible weekend for newcomers as Men in Black International and Shaft underperform, however the biggest loser is X-Men: Dark Phoenix which set the wrong type of record in its second week.
