Resident Evil franchise writer/director Paul W.S. Anderson will be tackling his next video game adaptation in Monster Hunter, which is set to start production right here in South Africa in September. However, don't expect the movie to stick too close to the game.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is making the trip across the ocean and to the West, launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch later this year.

Monster Hunter: World is a very good game (unless you’re one of the many people who just don’t get Monster Hunter. I’m one of them), and it’s been a huge success for Capcom. So much so, that it’s now their best-selling game of all time, ever. Capcom has now announced that total worldwide shipments and digital download sales for Monster Hunter: World have exceeded 7.9 million.

Capcom is planning to celebrate 30 years of Mega Man with some fan-tastic revivals of two of the best games in the series, Mega Man II and Mega Man X. In NES and SNES cartridge form that is.

The regular Humble Bundles are a great way to pad out your already bulging backlogs. Thing is, they’re usually for PC gamers, which means that those with consoles get left in the dust. That changes with the Humble Capcom x Sega PlayStation Bundle, which as its name suggests, bundles together a stack of great games from both publishers, for very little money.

Capcom has another update out on April 19 for the PS4 and Xbox One versions Monster Hunter World, and it’s a doozy! The key attraction in this software tweaking will be the introduction of the newest Elder Dragon, Kulve Taroth.
