Outriders developer People Can Fly are looking at Blizzard's classic Diablo games for inspiration towards carrying on the story of Outriders.

Dibalo 2 Resurrected isn’t just Blizzard’s latest game to get the remaster treatment, but possibly the last one for quite some time. With the studio having done a fair job on bringing some of its older classics back to life with a few modern touches and a new coat of paint over the years, it’s perhaps a tad bit too early to start writing speculation posts about Overwatch: Reforged Edition or Hearthstone: That’s a Big Deck You Got There.

From stalwart bruisers such as the Barbarian to new generation ass-kickers such as the Demon Slayer and Monk, Diablo Immortal has a healthy selection of classes to choose from.

Blizzard isn’t ready to share too many details yet on its endgame, but in an interview with Diablo Immortal lead producer Caleb Arseneaux and senior system designer Kris Zierhut, the duo revealed that not only would the endgame be a substantial chunk of action to explore and grow in, the journey there would also take players a fair amount of time.

Lead designer Rob Gallerani confirmed that Diablo 2: Resurrected will “absolutely not” erase any of your existing Diablo 2 installs, as Blizzard had learned a thing or two from the Reforged debacle.

So how do you translate all of that digital information of Blizzard's grim RPG series onto a smaller smartphone screen? By making those iconic systems of Diablo more fluid, focusing on the core of each character and their various abilities.
