Nintendo’s greatest console of the 90s, with 21 games bundled inside of it. Much like last year’s NES Classic Mini console, players will be able to work with a save-game feature that allows them to pause and resume a game at any given point. That feature has been expanded for the SNES Classic, which now allows you to boot up a save and view your gameplay and jump in to take control at any point.

I’ve been following RUINER since I first glimpsed it at the gloriously gory Devolver Digital press conference from E3, and as the official president of all things twin-stick shootery I’ve liked what I’ve seen so far. Here’s the bad news, followed by the good news: You’re not getting a proper Fear Effect sequel (Does Fear Effect Sedna count? I’m not sure and I don’t think it’s even out yet). In my best Farnsworth voice however, the good news is that fans are at least getting a remake of the first game in the series, titled Fear Effect Reinvented.

I’ve got many a fond memory of Age of Empires, a series of real-time strategy games from Microsoft that were pitch-perfect in their balance of exploration and conquest. While Age of Empires II was the highlight for me, I never quite got into its third instalment. It was a fine game, but something just felt…off. Maybe it was the dramatic shift to 3D visuals in an age where such graphics were still in their infancy in that genre, or maybe it was the odd resource-gathering system. Perhaps the fourth time is the charm then, as Microsoft unveiled Age of Empires IV last night.

A Dota 2 story could unfold with Artifact, and that's something to be excited about.
