In Borderlands 3, the gang is finally going somewhere else. While Pandora still has its fair share of attractions where players can loot ‘n shoot to their heart’s content, the universe beyond that mudball includes a few new tourist traps. Gearbox dropped details on one of them yesterday, the Atlas Corporation stronghold known as Promethea where a certain fan favourite character from Telltale’s stab at a more narrative Borderlands adventure happens to currently reside. Between Far Cry: New Dawn and Rage 2, players have had plenty to choose from in terms of games that are like totes crazy. You can add Borderlands 3 to that list, as even with a few controversies behind centered on just one fella whose name rhymes with Candy Ditch Hoard, Borderlands 3 is still shaping up to look like a hell of a good time.

Borderlands 3 is coming in September, and – as with many of you – it’s easily one of the games I’m most looking forward to. Tomorrow, Gearbox is hosting a “Celebration of Togetherness,” online – with no information on just what that celebration might entail. There’s no word on a Twitch Stream, or anything resembling a physical event, just a generalised internet invitation to the “event.”
