WWE 2K20 will finally start fixing itself in two weeks

By Darryn Bonthuys

I still need to rock a review out for this one, but after spending more time with it over the weekend…HOO BOY! Anything that can go wrong does go wrong with WWE 2K20 and then some. This year’s incarnation of the sports entertainment simulator is a bigger bust than finding out that Hornswoggle was the RAW anonymous general manager, as …

WWE 2K20 is hilariously broken on day one of its launch

By Darryn Bonthuys

Another year, another WWE game and a general feeling that whatever 2K puts out will be passable enough to justify a hefty purchase for a visual simulation of Vinny Mac’s House of Smacks…right? With nary a review to its name ahead of launch day (Which was yesterday!), there were already worrying signs that WWE 2K20 would be a jobber of a game this year instead of the heavyweight contender that fans were expecting.

Fallout 76 reportedly trivial to hack, Bethesda says claims are “inaccurate”

By Geoffrey Tim

Fallout 76 is currently in beta, and it’s got a lot of bugs, but that’s to be expected. Not just because it’s a beta, but also because it’s a great big Bethesda game. The game is being developed using the same engine that runs Fallout 4, so it has a lot in common with the game that had players wandering around Boston, collecting junk and building settlements. It appears to be just as easy to mod.

God of War is a game that would not be so finely polished were it not for the countless hours that Sony’s Santa Monica studio put into the project, burning the midnight oil and tinkering with every aspect of the design of the big return of the OG battle deity. Don’t forget those people in QA either, men and women who perform a thankless task in an industry that views them as disposable assets when a job is done. Especially when their hard work prevented the following glitches from mostly making its way into the final product.

WWE 2K18 may be the most broken wrestling game to date

By Darryn Bonthuys

It doesn’t take much to make a good wrestling game. Just give me a comprehensive system within which to scan Geoff’s face into a punchable wrestler, a lengthy career mode and the trendiest superstars on the roster today and I’m happier than Vince McMahon at a bodybuilding contest. While previous WWE games may not have lived up to the highs of…wow, I don’t even know which game to insert there, they’ve been consistently terrible lately.

Battlefield 4 still haunts EA and DICE, to the point where they want to make certain that a rocky launch is never repeated again, especially with Battlefield 1 launching this year.

In a game such as Fallout 4, bugs are inevitable. Naturally, some patches will be needed to fix the game up to scratch. And thankfully, PC gamers will be able to beta-test that patch for console players.
