The US was recently rocked, once again, with mass shootings that once again put the spotlight on the country’s weird obsession with gun violence. Of course, politicians tried to put the blame on video games, which have been the scapegoat of choice for the last two decades or so. US Prsident Donald Trump has himself blamed the entertainment medium, suggesting that legislators reduce access to “gruesome” games.

If a mini-console powered by nostalgia could work for Nintendo, then that’s an idea which could certainly work wonders for Sony and the PlayStation brand. The PlayStation Classic is that very idea, realised and given a Sony slap of paint, although of the 20 games that were announced for the system, only five of them were revealed a few months ago. That all changes today, as the holiday season draws closer and Sony looks to generate some buzz on the console and all of the goodies included. Rockstar Games was ahead of the curve 15 years ago already when it released GTA: Vice City to massive acclaim. Essentially a Goodfellas version of Miami Vice, Vice City was the 80s to the grodie max brah and mixed with GTA’s trademark sense of satire. Satire which the Psychic Reader’s Network has taken umbrage with according to the Wrap, as they’ve decided to sue Rockstar Games over the character of Auntie Poulet.
