Riot have dropped patch 6.2 for League of Legends. It comes packed with Jhin (well, soon anyways), an overhauled Shen, and as usual, a bunch of balancing!

Riot kicked off League of Legends this year with quite the bang. First, they released a brand new champion and overhauled another. Then they dropped patch 6.1, which included a host of improvements. And now they’re officially kicking off the 2016 ranked season.

Entries for the Microsoft HoloLens "Share Your Idea" campaign closed last week, and one of the most popular entries almost introduced VR spectating to the eSports world.

Riot really are kicking off the year with style. They've released a new champion, overhauled another, and now they've patched League of Legends up to 6.1. It comes with the usual changes, but also a brand new Champion Select.

Riot have given Shen a champion overhaul. The League of Legends ninja keeps some of his old abilities, but has learnt some new tricks too. Let's take a look at what he can do...

Last week, Riot teased a brand new champion for League of Legends. All that could be gleaned from the short clip is that the upcoming character has a gun, some sort of fascination with the arts, and somewhat resembles Handsome Jack. Now though, we can finally see who this Virtuoso is, and exactly what he is capable of.

Just yesterday, Riot discussed some of their early 2016 plans for League of Legends. These include balancing the likes of game pacing, in-game objectives, the different champion classes, and various other bits and bobs. Being Riot though, they’re obviously hard at work in the new champion department too. Seriously, we’re barely into the new year, and they’ve already teased their next one!
