In addition to the core five fighters in Streets of Rage 4 such as Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding and Adam Hunter , you’ll also be able to hit the angriest of roads with 12 pixel art fighters from the original trilogy of games. Fighters such as Max 'Thunder' Hatchett, Eddie 'Skate' Hunter, and Dr. Gilbert Zan. You can even play as Shiva and not need to hold the B button for a long-ass time after you beat him!

A project years in the making, The Outer Wilds is balanced on a visual and a mechanical level by a soundtrack that not only guides your actions but motivates you to keep pushing forward into the cosmos. You can thank composer Andrew Prahlow for that divine score which blends a more folksy theme with mournful interludes, grand explosions of cosmic hope and…kazoos. It’s a hell of a soundtrack, a BAFTA-nominated work of art that came tantalisingly close to winning last week.

Disco Elysium is coming to the Nintendo Switch

We waxed lyrical last year about just how dang good Disco Elysium was to play. An RPG where you stepped into the gumshoes of a washed out detective and then bolstered their skillset with strangely-specific mental conditions, Disco Elysium wasn’t just good to play but a bit of a looker as well. Right now, you can grab it on PC, PS4 or Xbox One. Not Nintendo Switch, no sir the best platform under the sun hasn’t been graced by developer ZA/UM’s masterpiece…yet.

There’s a stereotype out there of gamers being a bunch of unkempt basement dwellers engaged to their anime waifu pillows, but nothing could be further from the truth in this day and age. A truth that the Daily Mirror clearly forgot about with their latest feature on what the gamers of tomorrow will look like.

By Darryn Bonthuys

Final Fantasy VII Remake isn’t the retelling of a cult classic that you’re expecting it to be. It’s a lengthy and deliberately slow-paced walk down the Midgar memory lane that leisurely basks within the warm glow of nostalgia, but at the same time it’s an exhilarating and cinematic explosion of action that not only celebrates the impact of the game which rewrote the rulebook for an entire industry in 1997, but also everything else that followed in its genre-defining wake.
