I think it's safe to assume that Sony and Marvel are not going to work out their differences surrounding Spider-Man. But just because Spidey is now out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe doesn't mean the story that has already begun can't continue elsewhere.

What's happening with Spider-Man right now? Nobody knows for sure, but livid fans reckon the best way to stick it to Sony may be with a boycott of everything related to the Japanese giant. And they've got a petition to prove just how serious they really are!

With renegotiations between Sony and Disney for the co-production deal on Spider-Man films stuck in a stalemate, it could mean that star Tom Holland's time as the Webslinger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe could be over as Sony reasserts full control.
