In a short video confirming its return to a set theatrical release schedule, Marvel Studios has unveiled some big glimpses at some of the comic book film studio's most hotly anticipated productions!

Several decades, the endless match of technology, and a whole lot of artistic license has resulted in Iron Man having one of the most flexible appearances in comic books. But if you went straight back to the source, the Iron Man of the 1960s looked a whole lot different than the sleek and angular armoured Avenger that we know of today.

The late Stan Lee is getting a new cinematic universe of series, movies and merchandise outside of Marvel, through his POW! Entertainment company.

Hot Toys is looking to immortalise the best cameo of the Marvel Comics legend, as they’re bringing Smilin’ Stan Lee back for one more slice of immortal merchandising.

Appearing on Larry King’s talk show (Yes, he’s still going), Maher addressed his comments from his blog and the negative backlash that they had garnered, as he claimed that he was “agnostic” towards Stan Lee and he wasn’t aiming his swipes at the man himself. Which is all well and fine, until Maher decided to dig his hole even further with this gem of a comment.

The ambassador of comic books and movie cameos was as lovable as could be, even in the twilight years of his life. Always smiling, always spinning a story or two and always being a beacon of positivity. If Stan Lee was an influence on the hearts and minds of many of the people who would go on to redefine entertainment, then he was the kind of inspiration that almost no one could speak ill of after he had died. Almost no one.

From his turn as a juror in the Trial of the Incredible Hulk to that of an intergalactic butcher of Thor Odinsson’s glorious golden locks, Stan Lee’s cameos became not just the best Easter egg in Hollywood, but a treasured standard for the industry. With his death this week, its the end of an era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the godfather of their source material will no longer be around o provide a smile and a chuckle. Well, not immediately anyway.

With his passing, Stan Lee’s own story may be over but the legend he created will live on forever as the comic book industry paid their respects to a man who was a mentor, an inspiration and most importantly, a friend.
