Clowns are supposed to be fun and friendly tricksters who make you laugh. Making them this terrifying is just not right.

A brand new adaptation of Stephen King's classic 1983 horror novel Pet Semetary (no, the horror wasn't just from the spelling) is on the way, and this remake is looking every bit as creepy as fans might have hoped for.
Stephen King is known for including some very weird stuff in his books, which is why on-screen adaptations often make omissions. And whereas last year's It feature film wisely dodged one massively controversial scene, follow-up It: Chapter Two will in fact be keeping in the most bonkers sequence.
A death-row attorney reluctantly returns to the town of Castle Rock, which he left many years earlier after the death of his father, after an unrecorded inmate is discovered in the depths of Shawshank Prison. As he begins to investigate the mystery behind the appearance of the prisoner, strange things begin happening in and around the town of Castle Rock.
A week doesn't go by without word of yet another Stephen King adaptation in the works. This time Netflix is taking on a book the legendary author co-write with his son.
IT: Chapter One returned horror to the mainstream while also ruining a lo t of underwear in the process. Expect underwear sales to only go up as the sequel promises to be even more terrifying than the first film.
IT: Chapter Two needs a superb adult cast to follow up on the excellence of the younger cast form the first movie. So far, they're off to a good start in finding them.
Cable network AMC have picked up horror author Joe Hill's 2013 novel, NOS4A2. It introduces Vic McQueen, a young, working class artist who discovers she has a supernatural ability to track the seemingly immortal Charlie Manx. Manx feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – a twisted Christmas Village of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas day and unhappiness is against the law.
In an industry often clouded by exclusivity and inflated price tags, Dossier Perfumes emerges …

The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
