As is the custom, EVO caters to a selection of game that each have their own prize pool of cold hard cash up for grabs, resulting in some games being more popular than the other. How does a game like Tekken choose a guest character? “It was kind of a different circumstance from Akuma. The decision making occurred outside of Tekken 7 and outside of initial planning,” series head Katushiro Harada said to Game Informer.

Tekken 7 is out, and for fans of the series it’s just about everything they could have wanted. Unless they wanted a genuinely engaging single player mode, that is. Tekken 7 is a very good fighting game though – and it’s obvious that many, many of you wanted a copy of this game. There can be only one.
