Skull and Bones as a multiplayer game probably doesn’t sound like an enticing day one buy on its own. Fortunately, it’ll have a proper single-player campaign on launch according to PC Gamer.

Far Cry 5 is crazy, mad stuff that feels perfect for its environment. At E3 this year, we got a quick chance to quiz narrative director Jean-Sebastien Decant on the environment, Boomer and your fellow guns for hire. Here’s what he had to say:

The Crew finally started to gel together with Wild Run, as Ubisoft decided to apply those lessons to the first proper sequel to their racing game and double down on not only the social aspects but also the nuttery that drives people to love anything with a V8 engine. Which is why The Crew 2 isn’t just a racing game: It’s a trinity of engineered pursuits that gives players free reign to explore as they see fit.

Far Cry 5 looked downright somber then. A serious look at the effects of cults and the ramifications of their presence on the people around them. That much is still very much true in Far Cry 5, but it’s also not the defining aspect of this latest sequel. In a hands-on session at E3, Ubisoft’s open-world shooter was madder than a bag of agitated weasels, the kind of game that makes you echo America f*** yeah with gusto.

Blue seas, rolling waves and a ship to sail the high seas on. Now imagine that ship being pursued through hell and back amidst a sea of salty water and cannonballs as dozens of ships chase you down in pursuit of your sweet booty. That’s the world of Skull and Bones, Ubisoft’s nautical title which takes that one idea that made Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag so memorable and builds an entire game around it.

Assassin’s Creed is back this year, with a game that marks quite a star change of direction for the series. While the core tenets of Assassin’s Creed are all in place, there have been great, sweeping changes to how the game plays. Here’s 20 minutes of the game, captured on Xbox One X to show that.
