Director Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot is not exactly a nice topic among comic book geeks at the moment. Some die-hard fans were already incensed with the casting of Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, but that deviation from the source was nothing when compared against Toby Kebbell’s recent revelation that his “Doctor Doom” is not the high-tech armour wearing, magic …

Arnold Schwarzenegger must like big butts, because he cannot lie. When he told us he would be back all those years ago, he wasn’t kidding. The Governator’s return to the world of movies may not have been as successful (at least commercially) as he may have hoped, but those were all with new movies and not the characters that made …
I’ve been very intrigued by Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service, but that’s just because I’m always intrigued by anything Vaughn does. Especially when what he’s doing involves a comic book adaptation. Vaughn has already struck comic book gold thrice previously with Stardust, X-Men: First Class and Kick-Ass. The latter is an adaptation of acclaimed writer Mark Millar’s comic book, and now Vaughn is once again …
I love movies that are whack, movies like Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, so it is with great glee that I present to you a trailer for the upcoming Inherent Vice, a mix of cops, kidnapping plots of billionaire boyfriends, drugs, and a very different looking Joaquin Phoenix. The film’s directer Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights) also shot this trailer …
A new Jurassic Park movie means a whole new section of resurrected dinosaurs for tourists to gawp at. But why go with dinos that actually existed? Why not use some of that DNA, splice the hell out of it and introduce some new traits in order to create bigger and badder dinos in order to attract visitors. That’s pretty much …
Everything is awesome, especially if you’re co-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The powerhouse duo cemented their status (with some KRAGL, of course) as the current “it guys” in Hollywood, with hits like Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, 21 & 22 Jump Street and of course The LEGO Movie. The latter was not only an unprecedented critical and commercial success (it’s the …
It’s quite easy for an adaptation of an existing property to forget what made its source material so popular. Which would explain Man Of Steel I guess. With a new Peanuts movie on the way, kids are going to be introduced to Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the gang for the first time. Charles Schulz may be gone, …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
