Later this week, one of my most anticipated PS3 games makes its way to local retail shelves; LittleBigPlanet 2, sequel to Media Molecule’s exceptional Play.Create.Share title. While some found the title to be a bit boring, and Sackboy to have a bit of a floaty jump, they’ve obviously never played it co-operatively with 3 other people. Like it’s predecessor, LBP2 …
If ever there was any evidence that Sony, as whole, took South Africa just a little more seriously than Microsoft as a viable territory for video gaming, you’d imagine it would be the implementation of PSN day and date with the PS3’s local launch. Yes, the PSN was functional on Sony’s console right out of the box; no 4 year …
If you downloaded the Mass Effect 2 Demo for PS3 and were disappointed that it wasn’t leaps and bounds above, and in some instances was actually poorer than the original Xbox 360 version, Bioware have some heartening news for you. BioWare’s community coordinator Chris Priestly has allayed concerned PS3 fans’ fears of a poor port via the US PlayStation blog. …
I stopped posting videos of the multitude of Kinect hacks purely because they’ve become so numerous; the site would be nothing but videos of people doing things they shouldn’t with Microsoft’s motion-sensing doohickey. According to Nathan the FPS genre is so competitive at the moment that any fluffing and anything under 90% will pretty much doom your title to …
EA have been known to try some odd marketing concepts before and this one is another one to add to that ever growing pile of WTF’s. With the mainstream media constantly blaming gaming for every atrocity under the sun it takes a certain level of guts to actively make a trailer that not only doesn’t say anything positive about the …
The last couple of years have been very good to us gamers, with every single year packing more than a handful of major releases. That said, I don’t think that many of you have fully realised just how MASSIVE the 2011 game release schedule is and just how many amazing games will be fighting to lighten your wallet. I dug …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
