They say that good things come to those who wait. PS3 owners have waited a long time – so what they’re going to be getting is extra special. Former Bioware Xbox 360 exclusive (and one of our very favourite games from 2010), Mass Effect 2 will soon be making its appearance on Sony’s PS3. Bioware and publisher EA have celebrated …
Bulletstorm looks like it’s just going to be way too much fun for mere mortals to truly appreciate. This latest video is apparently volume one of these new “Skillsodes” that show you a few awesome ways to pwnz0rize enemies and from the looks of things, we are going to be giggling quite often through this game (deny everything). Popping a …
The Killzone series is one of the series that virtually all Xbox 360 fans wish was coming to their platform. It’s a kick ass FPS with as much testosterone as any other title out there. And now with the next iteration it seems that Guerrilla games are going large with some bosses that put Halo’s Scarab to shame, welcome the …
I’m a big fan of Capcom, probably because so many of their games have been childhood favourites. They’re responsible for gems like Ghost and Goblins, 1942, MegaMan and Street Fighter II (which revolutionised arcade fighters) were all integral parts of my formative years. They’re one of the world’s premier game developers – which makes one of their latest games all …
You may have noticed a relative lack of input on the site of late, from one Nick de Bruyne. Apart from today’s GT5 article, there’s been little from our favourite internet boob scouring, ION posting red-backgrounded reviews and features editor. He is, to put it rather bluntly, quite f*cking sick. Where goats are capable of eating just about anything and …
You’re aware by now that the PS3’s been hacked wide open; the public release of its root keys mean coders can sign apps to natively run on the PS3 without Sony’s consent. some tinkering has even lead to pirated games running directly from the XMB, as if they were PSN games. You’re probably wondering what sort of punitive measures, if …
MCVUK is reporting that the long expected PlayStation Portable 2 will be announced by Sony at an event in Japan on the 27th of January. Whether this device is the upcoming phone/gaming system is yet to be detailed but apparently the announcement is now 100% confirmed by insiders and Sony will be making a full announcement anyday now. Whether the …
So I am finally back from vacation and during that time I managed to really get stuck into one of the most anticipated releases of all time, Gran Turismo 5. While I have already reviewed Gran Turismo 5 after spending hours and hours with it, the true magical qualities or issues with a game like this only arise after some …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
