I used to be the biggest Gears of War fanboy on the planet. Well, that statement isn’t entirely true as my first year on Xbox Live was brought together with an incredible local community of gamers who were just as addicted and in love as I was. Gears of War 2 was not so well received as its gameplay just …
If there are two games that I really enjoyed playing online, it was Gears of War and Killzone 2. Next year sees the release of the third iterations of both exclusive behemoths, each packed with new features to make you giddy in your pants. Which one is going to be the best? Well, that’s what today’s debate is all about. …
With rAge 2010 done and dusted and 2080 pc gamers getting there for their 3 day non-stop gaming fix for the next year I wondered to myself about the days I used to LAN. I walked through the LAN area while it was being set up and a strong sense of nostalgia rose up and reminded me of the “good …
Microsoft is banking a lot of their gaming future on Kinect and they have made it abundantly clear that they see the release of Kinect as a bigger event than the release of the Xbox 360. So stories like this must be making them all warm and fuzzy inside. According to a post on X2theg you can no longer pre-order …

Don’t panic it’s not Thursday I just never got around to posting this yesterday as I was dealing with the fall out from the CliffyB attack. This week’s Zero Punctuation takes on Halo Reach and incredibly he actually appears to like it somewhat and that’s without even playing the multiplayer side of the game. Unfortunately the can’t be said for …
Mario is 25 years old. I’m totally older than him, but I don’t get a fancy 25th Anniversary commemorative release, he does. That’s ok, he deserves it after all that trouble he goes to rescuing Peach over and over and over again. What a trooper. The lovely looking Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition box set was initially a Japan-only …
Somebody is being an evil bastard and toying with gamers’ emotions. SEGA have announced a new game that they’re billing as the third Shenmue game – yet it’s not a reason to be out in the streets joyously celebrating. If anything, it’s more likely to make people raise their fists to, and shout at the heavens. Last Updated: October 7, …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
