This week in a town called Little Rock in Arkansas ( pronounced: Ar – kan – saw) a fire was reported at the home of one Carl Olson. Once the fire had been dealt with and the investigation team was able to do what they do best, they found that the fire had originated from the powercord of an Xbox …

According to a leaflet from the UK supermarket Tesco, GTA IV is going to be available in their stores on April 25th. There is a similar case in Poland, with a screenshot of a website advertising the games availability on the 25th as well. Now, I don’t think that Rockstar would announce the 29th and then actually release it on …

Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear Solid games, has been chatting to Edge magazine and the outcome is not very pretty reading for PS3 fans… It needs to be remembered though that Hideo is a huge perfectionist and is generally not happy with what it created. His disappointment in this interview though is more about the limited ability …

You heard it right folks! Any worries that you had of GTA IV being delayed can be safely put aside. According to Gamespot the news was broken in a shareholders meeting at Take Two today. "During Take-Two's shareholders' meeting today, the publisher said that GTAIV has gone gold. The game is "in production and in trucks en route to retailers," proclaimed Take-Two CEO Ben Feder. Rated M for Mature, GTAIV will be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 29." That's great news, as there was a lot of speculation as to whether or not GTA IV would actually make its release date. Let's just hope that everything goes smoothly on our side so that all of us in sunny South Africa get the game on time as well.

Now here is something that is both different and just plain cool for the fans, in their latest promotional campaign for their upcoming Ghostbusters videogame, Vivendi have fully restored the Ecto-1, know to many of us as the bitchin' Ghostbuster's Mobile. They had the car parked at outside the Best Buy headquarters in Minnesota for a Vivendi promotional event. I know that marketting is marketting, but this is something really cool that will surely grab a lot of attention from hardcore fans and casual gamers alike. Click here to see all the photos (217!! of them).

The near height of Awesome

There’s no real point behind this post. I have nothing to share, no news to break or anything like that. In fact, I don’t even know why Batman appears on a poster for Mortal Kombat Online, nor do I care. I doubt I’m going to play the game. In my mind the old ‘digital actor’ games in the series remain …

Apparently Soul Caliber IV is going to be released on the 31st of July. To celebrate this Gameplayer.com.au has put together a feature titled “Ten Pages of Tits” and it’s not hard to see why. The developers have not held back with the ludicrously skimpy costumes which will surely bring them a whole heap of sales from the hormonally charged …
