Just last week I was watching my oldest kid playing through Borderlands 2 for what must be the umpteenth time, lamenting the fact that we’ve yet to see a new Borderlands game this generation. That situation may change by April 2019.

Despite the leaks from last week suggesting otherwise, Gearbox have announced that Borderlands 3 won't be appearing at E3 in any capacity.

Step on up folks, grab a bingo card and sit down. We’re going to take a look at the games that are rumoured to be shown off this year at E3.

It's the season of E3 leaks, and Walmart in Canada has beaten everyone to the punch with a huge leak of unannounced games that include RAGE 2, Splinter Cell and Borderlands 3.

With Borderlands 3 due for a reveal aaaaaaaaaaany minute now (E3 2018 probably), I’m hoping that it’ll be filled with wubalicious new guns. Guns which serve all manner of Easter egg purpose. One such weapon may already be in development: A flamethrower designed by none other than Elon “Is this what humans find fun” Musk.

We all know that Gearbox is busy working on a Borderlands 3. It’s probably the worst kept secret in games at the moment.

Gearbox now have their hands on the latest Unreal tech, and they showed off their progress with it at the Epic GDC presentation in San Francisco. And the rendering tech that they hinted that “may use in a future Gearbox game”, looks an awful lot like a Borderlands sequel.
