Call of Duty: WWII is a damned good game. Right now, the multiplayer experience is lacking somewhat. Mostly because the game’s servers have apparently imploded.

Call of Duty: WWII is out early next month, and as its name implies it’s taking the series back to its World War 2 roots. While there appears to be a moratorium on the phrases “back to its roots” and “boots on the ground,” that’s precisely what you can expect from this year’s take on the perpetually popular shooter.

In an effort to think outside of the box, publishers have instead jumped straight back into them. Forza Motorsport7, WWE 2K17 and Shadow of War are just a few of the games squeezing fans for a few dollars more with their take on random loot which can be delivered via a credit card shortcut. Now, Call of Duty: WWII is hopping on that trend with “Zombie Crates”.
