God-kings deposed, Red Legions left burning and ancient machines reduced to scrap parts. If you happen to have a look at the score sheet in Destiny, the Guardians are cleaning up pretty nicely with each main event tossed at them, resulting in their dominance within the universe once again rising. It’s a new age of heroes, but one that will always have new threats knocking on our cosmic door. So who’s the next big threat? That’s a question worth exploring, and breaking down.

With the recent launch on PC, Activision is now able to tout Destiny 2 as the best selling game of the year thus far. At least in the USA.

So what’s next for Destiny 2? The OCD Guardian inside of me is currently obsessed with getting his hands on a complete collection of exotics, but the post-game grind of Destiny 2 is largely cosmetic and a decent excuse to talk nonsense with my fan club. I mean readers of this site, yes that one. Destiny 2’s first expansion, Curse of Osiris, aims to add some more substance to the sequel as Bungie dropped a few details for the December launch.

Destiny 2’s first expansion launches in early December. Called the Curse of Osiris, it focuses on a Guardian who has been referenced since the beginning of Destiny 2, a renegade back from exile and ready to draft in some new soldiers against his war with the Vex. Osiris may have only had a few seconds of screen-time in last night’s trailer, but that teaser still gave plenty of clues away as to what to expect when the expansion launches. Let’s have a look then.

After weeks of teasing, Bungie’s first full-fledged for Destiny 2 was shown off at Paris Games Week. The titular Curse of Osiris finally brings the infamous renegade Guardian into the light, as players need to fight back against an all-new Vex threat on Mercury.

It might have been a long wait, but Bungie proves with its PC version of Destiny 2 that a good PC port takes a little extra work to get feeling this good.
