Microsoft is shaking their E3 plans up in a large way, moving al of their booth space outside of the main convention centre and rescheduling their conference.

Splinter Cell is (along with Prince of Persia) one of Ubisoft biggest franchises that’s currently being ignored. It’s been five years since we last saw a game in the fabled stealth-em-up series, with the actually fantastic Blacklist was released on the last generation of consoles. The Division is a whole game, one of the many titles in Ubisoft’s library that emphasises the idea of games as a service. But where titles such as Rainbow Six Siege and For Honor have been designed to last longer than a few years, it looks like The Division is going to recruit a sequel to its ranks when it returns to New York City for another tour of duty.

It’s official! Bethesda Softworks will once again be popping up at E3 this year, having not only a stage floor presence but also its own showcase that kicks off a few days before the main event.

It may have been more cramped than a Hong Kong flat party, but E3 2017 felt alive and energised. The showfloor was buzzing, people were having a good time and the venue felt like a prime example of what video games were supposed to do: Connect with people. This year, you can grab a second chance at experiencing the mania of E3. Provided that you have enough green in your wallet that is.

At E3 this year, Atari announced that it would be returning to the hardware business, with a brand new console. They've now revealed that it's a mini Linux Pc.
