Fortnite’s Season 6 landed yesterday, bringing with it more than a hundred new cosmetic items to unlock, Pets, changes to locations, areas to discover, Halloween stuff and more. It also introduced some unintended boob physics, eliciting giggles from the horde of 12-year-old boys I imagine spend every waking hour playing Fortnite.

Epic Games decided to skip Google’s Play Store for the release of Fortnite on Android. They did this primarily to avoid giving google a 30% cut of profits just for using their store. Many people wondered if this would be a security risk, given that the installer doesn’t go through the Google’s security checks. It turns out these fears weren’t unfounded.

Battle Royale du jour Fortnite has yet to launch on Android devices, with many rumours suggesting that when it does, it’ll be exclusive to Samsung phones for a while. New rumours even suggest that the version that’ll launch will even use Samsung’s own In-App Purchase SDK. Other rumours said the game would bypass Google’s Play Store.
