Half-Life 3 may be more mythical than the existence of the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and the democracy in Hong Kong, but Half-Life: ALyx sounds like it may just be shaping to fill a void that fans have been desperate to escape from ever since Half-Life: Episode 2 ended the series on a cliffhanger of note back in 2007.

In a surprising bit of transparency, Godfall developer Counterplay Games addressed the circulating video, saying that the video was indeed real, but was from an old internal trailer. They also suggested the game’s come along way since then.

Netflix’s The Witcher was a lot of fun, wasn’t it? I think the show tried to do too much in to short a span. Muddying what could and rightly should have been a more profound, protracted experience.
