A year after release, and Blizzard’s latest IP is stronger than ever. It has its fans, it has a community and its thriving online thanks to regular events and an even playing field. That last point might be hotly debated however, because plenty of players still reckon that Blizzard has a way to go in giving all players a fighting chance. With customisation being a key influencer in games of this ilk and Destiny 2 continuing the trend of the Guardian you’ve built being playable in the arenas, I see the mode gaining a following when Destiny 2 launches on PC. Bundle that with a Kickstarter that succeeds where the actual product fails on multiple levels, and you’ve got an homage to the past that’s mighty…crap. Alternatively, there’s Mega Maker.
Endemic teams might be leaving Overwatch, but non-endemic interest is on the rise.
This year the sleuthing legacy of Professor Layton passes on to Katrielle Layton in the first proper game in the series since 2013’s Azran Legacy. Here’s a trailer for Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaire’s Conspiracy. Bit of a mouthful that.
There is a set of skills that applies to many actions we take at …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
