Duke Nukem Forever should have been the final chapter in a series that was expected to be explosive when it was eventually released. Instead, Duke went out with less of a bang and more of a whimper in his final stab at greatness.

Borderlands 2 VR is bringing the entire ridiculous shooter to Sony's PlayStation Vr headset this December, with some big changes to gameplay.

Just last week I was watching my oldest kid playing through Borderlands 2 for what must be the umpteenth time, lamenting the fact that we’ve yet to see a new Borderlands game this generation. That situation may change by April 2019.

Earlier this week, news spread that a single typo in configuration file completely broke the Xenomorph AI in the ill-fated, frankly awful Alien: Colonial Marines. Gearbox is now poking fun at itself for the typo.

We Happy Few has taken a happy pill to the ratings board in Australia, and finally convinced them that the game deserves to be released in the land down under.

While Gearbox didn’t show off Borderlands in any guide, we did get to go hands on with its new shooter. Called Project 1v1, it does – as its name suggests – pit two players against each other. Reminiscent of games like Quake Arena and Unreal Tournament, it’s a fast-paced arena shooter with a focus on skill.

Despite the leaks from last week suggesting otherwise, Gearbox have announced that Borderlands 3 won't be appearing at E3 in any capacity.

With Borderlands 3 due for a reveal aaaaaaaaaaany minute now (E3 2018 probably), I’m hoping that it’ll be filled with wubalicious new guns. Guns which serve all manner of Easter egg purpose. One such weapon may already be in development: A flamethrower designed by none other than Elon “Is this what humans find fun” Musk.
