Visceral’s Star Wars game is deader than Emperor Palpatine’s love life after he became Darth Scrotum in Revenge of the Sith. Digging an even deeper hole for themselves in the eyes of fans, EA pulled the plug on the game and called it a day. There’s a lot that works in Anthem! There’s a lot of content that is also middling at best, but I’ll save my thoughts for the review. Here’s the thing, Anthem could easily go from okayish to enjoyable, within the span of a few patches. Something that Bioware has realised, as the day one patch for the mech-warrior game is going to be a big one.

According to some digging done by Dataminers and Real Apex Leaks, even more content is slated to appear in Apex Legends. While new Legends to play as, more cosmetic content and the aforementioned modes are a given, it’s the reference to a Survival mode that sounds particularly interesting.

Destiny vs Anthem. Which game is the best? On the one hand, you have a brand new experience to enjoy, while on the other greasy appendage you have a product which has several years of content to explore, woven into its very DNA. Time for a proper showdown.
