Here’s a closer look at Overwatch’s new hero, Echo…Echo…Echo…

Echo is the bleeding edge of artificial intelligence, a being who far surpasses run of the mill androids and who was created by a guilt-stricken Dr. Mina Liao during her time with Overwatch when the Omnic uprising shook the planet. As usual, the real question tat Liao had was whether or not Echo would exist as a force for good or as the next evolution of synthetic life that would succeed in wiping out humanity. I think she turned out for the better.

No deathmatch in DOOM Eternal? That’s because the mode is “eons old” according to Bethesda

It’s Battlemode where DOOM Eternal will live on, a one versus two multiplayer setup where a fully-kitted Doom Slayer takes on two demons who have to use guile and cunning to survive. It looks neat, and far better than DOOM 2016’s tepid approach to multiplayer. Something which even Bethesda VP Pete Hines agrees with.

I’m not even being paid to write this, because these are some cheap as chips bargains! DOOM Eternal Review – Okay Boomstick

By Darryn Bonthuys

DOOM Eternal is the most metal game in all of creation. It is rage and fire, the purity of armed combat dialled up to eleven and unleashed on a horde of eyeballs that simply aren’t ready for the retina-searing action that’s about to burn a new circle of hellish good fun into those ocular organs. Long live the Doom Slayer, long live the king of first-person shooters.

I’m still riding a Materia high after having experienced the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo, a slice of game that allowed to not only wield Cloud Strife’s infamous Buster Sword with subtle hints of Crisis Core gameplay, but also allowed me to switch things up and try my hand at a more classic RPG approach. The game is looking good, the visuals are impossibly spectacular for a base PS4 title and if this is but the first chapter in a massive saga that retells a classic tale then I’m ready to rock and roll.
