Ah, John Travolta. What an actor. He’s been on the scene for so long it’s difficult to remember him as Danny in Grease and since then he’s been nearly as sporadic as the Crazy Nicholas Cage. Well he looks to be on form in this trailer for The Forge – no, not the 2012 movie of the exact same name starring Josh Hutcherson. …
The less said about X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the better. The more said about James Mangold’s The Wolverine however, the even better. That flick returned Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman to a badass level not seen in many a year, as he arrived in Japan with a vengeance, adding trendy new claw-shaped scars to the majority of the Yakuza and ninja population …
Explosions! Killer robots! Fleeting glimpses of a brand new Avenger! This week’s release of the final Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer was a slobber-knocker, a two and a half minute run of bright colours and blockbuster action that left our jaws on the floor. He wouldn’t repeat the same mistakes …

Oh Samuel L. Jackson, you big bald ball of awesome. He really has appeared in some of the oddest movies, from Snakes on a Plane to Black Snake Moan, he has covered most of the genres. Recently his portrayal of comic book spy Nick Fury (whose likeness was actually based on Jackson – ow, my brain) has been one that I really …
There’s no doubt that starring in 1996’s $800+ million dollar grossing Independence Day is what turned Will Smith into the global superstar he is today. Before that though, Smith had to put in some work to get noticed, first as a Grammy-winning rapper and then as the star of a much beloved sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. When it …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves!
