Update: Now with a fresh trailer! Developer PlatinumGames recently got a bit of a cash injection through a partnership with Tencent. They’ve also successfully kick-started a remaster of their underappreciated gem, Wonderful 101. That game had too small an audience thanks to its exclusivity to Nintendo’s Wii U, but it’ll soon make its way to Switch, PC and PlayStation 4. …

It was a masterclass in how to take the ideas of an older game and retool them from the ground up to deliver a fresh, exciting experience. It also had a giant bastard in it who’d chase you all over the place – and …

The idea is simple: Take a regular store, kit it out with all manner of tech and tables to attract gamers from various fields and let them have fun.
