So after the amazing success of Call of Duty 4 it is no suprise to see a huge media campaign starting up already for the next iteration in the series. As has been mentioned before, the next game in the series is going back to World War II which is a move that I am not entirely happy about. I have really had my fill of WWII games to be honest. Hopefully they can pull it off but from these first grainy screenshots (scanned) I am not impressed, there is nothing in them that makes me sit up and take notice. Though all is not lost, according to MaxConsole there is going to be a new flamethrower that will melt the skin of your enemies and burn through grass and wooden buildings... now that sounds cool... But isn't Gears of War 2 doing that as well?
