By Gavin Mannion

Well this was a suprise, I sent one of my regular ‘Hassle Microsoft SA’ emails to the normal crowd and received an Out Of Office Response from Cindy White. “Unfortunately I don’t work for Microsoft South Africa any longer, I’ve relocated to Microsoft Redmond in Seattle” So that’s it, she’s gone without a goodbye or flowers or anything… There are …

Alan Wake is alive and kicking

By Nick De Bruyne

I don’t know about you, but I was getting rather worried about whether or not Alan Wake was still going to see the light of day. Pretty much nothing has been heard of this game in well over a year. There was never a rumour or any type of proof to suggest that the game might be cancelled, but with …

Quake wars – Xbox 360 vs PS3

By Gavin Mannion
June 3, 2008
in :  Gaming

I love these comparisons, normally you can’t really tell the difference in actual video quality but you sometimes get to see some differences in gameplay or physics… If my memory serves me right there hasn’t yet been a multi-platform game where the PS3 has won the comparisons hands down?…. Granted some sites have said the PS3 version of Burnout, Oblivion, …

The messy business of gaming has reared it’s ugly head again.. Tomonobu Itagaki, creator of the Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden series, has resigned from Tecmo and at the same time started a lawsuit against them. Apparently the president of Tecmo refused to honour a previous agreement and instead told Itagaki to either quit or sue them… So he …

By Nick De Bruyne

It’s about time that someone does something like this. Not just anyone, but someone who’s actions will be seen and taken into account. The people at EGM magazine have decided to not give Metal Gear Solid 4 a score due to restrictions set by Konami that they don’t agree with. The restrictions asked the press to not make any comments …

Much better Skate 2 teaser

By Nick De Bruyne

If any of you took a look at the Skate 2 teaser trailer that we posted last week, you were probably as confused as we were. Mostly because it made absolutely no sense. This trailer however it quite nifty, it basically talks about how your character from the first game disappeared and is nowhere to be found. They have interviews with people talking about him and discussing rumors of where he went, almost like a documentary.I found it way better that that first teaser and it has made me excited for the game again!

One of our readers, Fox1, spotted an interesting advert in the most recent edition of NAG magazine… According to the advert you can pick up a Xbox 360 core unit with one wired controller, one wireless controller and a copy of PGR4… Now the question is whether or not the Core in question is actually an Arcade with a wired …
