It’s instantly familiar to anyone who has played any of Ubisoft’s shooters over the last couple of years, but it’s a confident approach that works well as a colourful diversion at the end of the world.

A few years later and we’re at the doors of sequel territory, with The Division 2 featuring more subtle changes to its formula while still retaining the feel and handling of the original.

Like an American Republican’s wettest dream, guns are pretty much everywhere in Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends. Every single firearm has a particular quirk to it, a style that benefits certain environments and showdowns when you find yourself needing to eject some hot lead from the barrel. That being said, being good with one weapon doesn’t guarantee success in Apex Legends.

Kingdom Hearts 3 was an unforgettable experience and as a long-time fan, it was everything I could’ve hoped for. Terrible story pacing aside, this is a special game and a fitting end to an over decade-old saga.

For all the flack that Kingdom Hearts gets, it a series that knows what it is and unashamedly embraces its quirks and silliness. Sure, it has its fair share of melodrama but for Pete’s sake you’re a kid running around with Goofy and Donald Duck trying to save Disney themed worlds from evil monsters. It’s weird and it can be dumb…but hot damn do I love it.
