Sony hasn’t mentioned much regarding the PS Vita lately, as it looks like the Japanese developer of wares hard and soft (giggle) is looking to exit the dedicated mobile gaming field. Speaking to Bloomberg via Kotaku UK at the Tokyo Game Show last week, Global CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment Andrew House explained that Sony didn’t see much value in continuing the PS Vita brand with a successor console.

The inclusion of the Infinity Stones and the change to a more measured 2v2 format make up for the slightly slower pace. Marvel vs Capcom Infinite succeeds as a superlative fighting game, it’s just a pity that everything moulded around doesn’t quite reach those heights. The Story Mode is abysmal and the roster is uninspired. Despite that, it’s still a blast to play.

Yakuza Kiwami’s fresh coat of paint has done wonder for the aging sandbox brawler, even if some wrinkles have still managed to stubbornly hang on. It may not reach the same highs as the prequel Yakuza O, but Kiwami still has plenty of charm, story and more than enough action that sets the scene for the Dragon of Dojima to return on a grander stage next year.
