Yesterday, Vodacom announced that it’d inked a partnership with Microsoft that’ll let its customers buy Xbox and Windows Store apps and games using their Vodacom airtime. While it seems a strange way of effecting payment, it’s actually a good way for parents – as one example – to limit kids’ spending on gaming because airtime can be duly allotted. It also enables those without credit or online-purchase enabled debit cards to buy games and software – and also subscriptions, like Game Pass.

The Fourth season of the fourth year of Rainbow Six Siege – Shifting Tides - has been live on the Test Servers for a while, and one of the most exciting things about the test is that it included testing the stability of South African servers. We’ve given it a go, and the experience is pretty damned great (except when people are hurling abuse at you, because boy are people toxic). Now Shifting Tides is live proper on all platforms – but that doesn’t mean that the local servers are. From what we know, they’re still being tested, so haven’t gone live alongside the new content. That said, the plan is to roll the servers out once testing is all done and Ubisoft can ensure a smooth local experience.

While it was always obvious that Jill Valentine’s escape from the doomed Raccoon City would be the next logical choice, there was scant proof to go around to prove that this would be the next remake caper. Until today that is, when Resident Evil 3 Remake cover art popped up on the PlayStation Network.

There’s just so much cussing and use of naughty sex words to describe the simple action of messing up! How is one …
