By Gavin Mannion

A few days back I posted up the story about Kinect selling out at certain retailers in the USA which sparked a lively debate which ended in a certain reader proving themselves to be quite the idiot. But up until that point the debate was more around whether this shortage is being manufactured by Microsoft to build hype or whether …

It’s not time to panic yet but I would advise not betting your entire life on GT5 being released on time, mind you I would say that about any game as that would be a stupid thing to do. However especially for GT5 as news is coming out this morning that the game has been delayed in Russia for unspecified …

Some of you might know that back in 2005, EA and Steven Spielberg decided they would make a “blockbuster game” together. Deals were signed! Development teams formed! Codenames were given! (“LMNO” was the supposed title of the game but it was pronounced “Elemental”.) Progress happened but then things went quiet. Now, it turns out that the game is officially dead, …

I look back on Super Mario Bros with equal parts fondness and reverence. It’s a game that defined the platform genre, and catapulted Nintendo’s first home console to the incredibly lofty successes it experienced, and stands as one of the most important games ever created. The game’s creator, Shigeru Miyamoto doesn’t look back on it with as much awe as …

By Miklós Szecsei
October 12, 2010
in :  Gaming

Accounts being suspended or players being banned for cheating in multiplayer is understandable, but a complaint has surfaced from a StarCraft II player called gm0ney who claims Blizzard suspended his Battle.net account after he cheated in the game’s single-player campaign. According to gm0ney he was accused of using an “unauthorised cheat program” or a trainer that was developed by CheatHappens.com. …

By Miklós Szecsei

I vowed never to get involved with Facebook games, but then Ubisoft goes and does THIS. In anticipation for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, a new Facebook game called Project Legacy has arrived. It’s supposedly like Mafia Wars, but better. This, of course, means nothing to me seeing as I’ve avoided Facebook games like I avoid regular kicks to the face. It …
