The publisher recently revealed their revenue earnings for this quarter, showing off that Greedfall made up a large portion of their income.
That’s no moon! Seriously, it’s a Dreaming One. Just in time for Halloween comes Moons of Madness, a first-person horror game that scratches a very specific sub-genre itch: the marriage of space exploration and the Cthulhu Mythos.
It’s cheesier than a Wisconsin cheddar tour, its coming off of the back of the massively panned Payback game and its going head to head with the current king of arcade racers, Forza Horizon 4. Need for Speed Heat certainly has its work cut out for it and then some. EA and Ghost Games’ semi-regular racing franchise has been in need of a substantial retune for many a year now and with a benchmark so low that it may just be a speed hump thanks to Payback, Heat has nowhere to go but up.
With the rest of the world frothing at the mouth to finally get their hands on the next generation of consoles and all the exciting technological leaps forward that entails, it seems not everyone is as excited for the launch of the PS5 and whatever Microsoft is called the next Xbox.
A stacked package of single-player and multiplayer offerings, Call of Duty Modern Warfare may not hit every mark that it fires but this ballsy reinvention of the franchise is still the blockbuster benchmark that is thrilling, thoughtful and terrific.
In an update on the Counter-Strike site, Valve has said it’ll no longer allow people to sell CS:GO container keys purchased within the game to be sold on the Steam marketplace – or even traded with others. While this doesn’t really impact players who buy the keys, it does ruin things for a certain subsection of Steam users: money launderers.
From melee heavy characters such as Buttercup to a granny by the name of Maeve who uses cunning traps to keep opponents locked down, the variety and lunacy of the Bleeding Edge cast is shaping up nicely. So how about some cool local flavour then? One such character does indeed exist in Bleeding Edge, a Xhosa warrior by the name of Miko.
