Bounties are back in Destiny 2, but the catch here is that you’re going to need to actually do them instead of hoarding them like a spinster with a cat fancy.

Destiny 2's Curse of Osiris was flashy, ambitious and ultimately shallow in its execution which resulted in the first substantial stab at expansive content for Bungie's sandbox being a complete letdown.
