Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. will have interviews after the main show, with a few exhibition matches and rumours of Mortal Kombat 11 having a time travel element to its story again. Will EarthRealm finally stop the forces of OutWorld for good this time, or will this be the beginning of a new war of the realms? Whatever the end result, you can bet that Mortal Kombat 11 is going to paint the town red with its action.

A private beta for The Division 2 kicks off on February 7 and runs until February 10, if you happen to have pre-ordered the game. If you haven’t, because you’re a 2010s video gamer who has been through all of this before maaaaaaaan, you can still stand a chance to hop in to the beta by registering for it. With a month to go until it releases, you might want to check your friends list as it looks like EA and Bioware’s Anthem is going in the opposite direction and will feature matchmaking for all of its activities according to lead producer Ben Irving. All of them.

For Anthem, the ability to go full Iron Man and take to the skies isn’t just a key gameplay feature. It’s the sum total of the power fantasy that Bioware wants to deliver with the game, albeit a system of navigation that did pose some challenges for the studio.
