Extinction is a fantastic idea buried in mediocrity. It’s one trick is stunning for a short while, but quickly runs out of steam as repetition, flimsy combat and a glib story cuts it down to size.

Final Fantasy XV, a game which spent a legendary amount of time in development, and looks set to equal that investment with a lengthy post-launch train of constant content.

Iron Galaxy’s giant-slayer hits shelves on April 10, promising players a sandbox in which to whip themselves around tall buildings and towering ogres that all have a bone to pick with you. Is it any good? Well I can’t say just yet, but what I can do is at least show you the game on a streaming service for a while. Codemaster’s big hook in addition to wilder gameplay though? Tracks which start a race with players already in a drive for their life.

Lawbreakers developer Boss Key finally calls it quits on its failed arena shooter. The developer will be moving on to new, hopefully better, things.
