You should know by now that I am quite a massive fan of Tron: Legacy, in much the same way that Kervyn is a fan of watching sweaty man dick-punch one another in Emma May. There’s just something about that film, that I admire so damn much. And that’s the fantastic visual side of it. An aspect of the film, …
It’s pretty much been one of the slowest box office summers in recent memory, with Guardians Of The Galaxy sitting at the top for several weeks now. Still, despite some massive success, that film was going to have to yield the throne to a new movie sooner or later. And it looks like one good deed of a film is …
Daredevil is a joke. No, I’m not talking about the character or comics, which has been absolutely phenomenal for years now already, I’m talking about the 2003 Ben Affleck movie, which boasted a Looney Toons version of Bullseye and more horrible wire-work acrobatics than a two-bit Cirque Du Soleil ripoff. But if you were to watch the director’s cut of that …
What you’re about to witness is possibly the most expensive piece of fan fiction since Fifty Shades of Grey turned Edward and Bella from Twilight into sex-fiends. Lakeshore Entertainment has tapped Theo James, who most recently starred in Divergent (a movie that received mixed reviews from critics and was given a 2.5 by our very own Kervyn Cloete) to lead the fifth and as yet unnamed Underworld movie. Surprisingly, original franchise star Kate Beckinsale, will not be returning. Not sure how I feel about that, as we need a hot …
BWAAAAAPP!! The Inception foghorn has become a staple in movie trailers ever since Chris Nolan started telling Leonardo DiCaprio to go deeper (not like that, you pervs!). The ear-drum shattering soundbyte has since been used to denote any major action beat in several trailers, much to the ever-increasing annoyance of fans. And for some reason its in the latest trailer for …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
