One had to have hoped that going into 2021 we’d be experiencing fewer delays but given how the world is still a bit of a mess, it makes sense.

Harry Potter open-world RPG easily found a spot on our top ten list of games that we were looking forward to the most in 2021, and after last night’s announcement from publisher Portkey Games, it’s also going to be on our 2022 list. Magic!

Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t exactly have a smooth console launch last year. PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game were an unplayable mess at best, riddled with bugs, and saddled with glitches that also infected the game on new-gen consoles. There’s a lot of work to be done at getting Cyberpunk 2077 up to snuff, that developer CD Projekt Red talked about last night.

The newly formed LucasFilm Games has announced that it’s hopping into business bed with Ubisoft, and the first game from this partnership will be a sandbox game developed by The Division’s Massive Entertainment. These are still early days though, and Massive is now on a recruitment drive to get the right staff ready for the project that will be helmed by creative director Julian Gerighty, director of The Division 2 and The Crew.

On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, you’ll find that the game has been spruced up nicely, with more options being available on Xbox.
