Here’s comes a not really new challenger! Capcom announces Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

By Geoffrey Tim

When Street Fighter V was released in 2016, it was a little on the anaemic side. With just a handful of characters, very little meaningful single player content and a focus on live service, it wasn’t the hit that Capcom or publisher Sony wanted from one of the world’s most venerated fighting games. Even though Black Friday has nothing at all to do with South Africa, over the years it’s become customary for people to hold on to their wealth like Bilbo Baggins clutching the one ring, so that they can blow it all on big-ticket items in the run-up to year’s end. We do quite like bargains.

There are still those who are willing to get up at the crack of dusk and boot up their console to find him for you. People who’ll risk digital life and limb to let you know if Xur is selling a treasure or rubbish. I just so happen to be one of those people. Maybe you’re stuck at work and can only log in later tonight. In that case: Where is Xur?
