Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released last month, and has unsurprisingly gone on to sell a boatload of copies. According to NPD video game guy Mat Piscatella, Modern Warfare was the best-selling game in the Us for October, and the year in general. It’s the 12th year in a row that Call of Duty has been the top-selling game in the month of its release, and that’s not likely to change. As a result, Call of Duty is the best selling franchise in the US overall since tracking began.
