Last night’s massive advert Game Pass, X019, had plenty of new reveals for which games will soon be made available in the months to come. Those announcements had a distinctive single-player taste, favouring genres and sequels that ranged from classic remasters to more contemporary slices of RPG nostalgia. Something which Xboss Phil Spencer reckons, is helping publishers to realise that they don’t need to chase the live service dragon.

Honey, I shrunk the survival genre! After experiencing massive success in The Outer Worlds, Obsidian’s next game is a lot more simple: It’s you, you’ve been shrunk down to the size of an ant and you need to survive the perils of your backyard. Weird, but this may be the closest I’ll ever come to getting an Ant-Man video game I guess.
