For a time, it looked 2K had finally found their groove with the release of WWE 2K19. WWE 2K20 takes all that goodwill and pisses it away, constructing the shoddiest backyard ring possible and filling it with a broken product, busted progression systems and an overall presentation that makes WWE 2K20 the worst there was, the worst there is and the worst that ever will be.

I’m not entirely sure which is more depressing. Realising that the ubiquitous symbol for gaming in general, Pac-Man, is soon to be 40 years old, or the incredible realisation that you’re actually older than Pac-Man. As welcome as the presence of Overwatch 2, it’s a strange new take on Blizzard’s beloved hero-shooter experience. For starters, it’s pretty much the original Overwatch but with a few more bells, whistles and Genji in a hoodie which is just adorable. Many of its PvP modes, maps and features from the original game will be copied on over to the sequel, thus allowing for a crossplay between games in online matches, something which you can imagine was massively challenging for Blizzard to throw resources at.

Fortnite YouTuber Faze Jarvis is popular enough that he’s accrued over two million subscribers in the space of just over a year. With that sort of audience, playing Fortnite has become a career – but it’s one that he’s just pissed down the tubes. He’s been banned from the popular Battle royale game for life after posting videos in which he was using an aimbot.

Reeves will be playing Johnny Silverhand, an AI ghost (I guess?) that’s stuck in the protagonist’s head for the majority of the game and it sounds like he’ll be having a great time.

There’s a new Pokémon coming this month; an actual 8th gen game with new critters to collect. It’s the first “true” Pokémon game for the Switch too, so it has people incredibly excited to “catch em all.” Unfortunately, despite that being the series trademark catchphrase, it seems players won’t be able to catch em all.

There’s still plenty of good to celebrate when it comes to the franchise and Bioware is looking to do just that with Dragon Age day on December 4. Sorry, I meant Dragon 4ge Day.
