Everything announced in last night’s PlayStation State of Play

I like my video game news to be delivered in much the same way that I like my pizza to be dropped off by me: Brief, cut into easily digestible segments and incredibly disappointing when there’s not even the merest mention of a new Batman game which results in me spending the night in a shower crying my heart out. …

Tonight’s PlayStation State of Play event may have been heavy on delightfuly quirky games and very very light on rumoured caped crusader reveals starring a certain gang of night owls, but the show didn’t end without Sony revealing one big card up their sleeve: The Last of Us Part II. Long in development and shrouded in mystery, the upcoming sequel to the hit post-apocalypse adventure from several years ago finally has a release date: February 21, 2020.

The Surge 2 Review: Slice, Dice and Ever So Nice

By Brad Lang

It’s unreal how well The Witcher 3 performs on the Nintendo Switch

If you’d told me a couple of years ago that I’d one day take The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt on the road with me and not have to technically justify (the best kind of correct!) that is was a mobile game because I’d hooked up my TV and console to a petrol generator, I’d have laughed in your face. Scoffed even, scoff to the max at the very notion of CD Projekt Red’s fantasy masterpiece being shrunk down to pocket size. But lo and behold, through some sort of sorcery, CDPR has done the impossible.
