Well this is a turn up for the books. When I heard that Sony may be publishing Ghostbusters I didn’t really pay it much attention. However there is more to this story than meets the eye. It is actually Sony Pictures that are planning on publishing the game and even more suprising is that it sounds like they are possibly …

Game Critics Best of E3

By Gavin Mannion

Before we turn all our attention to Leipzig lets look back at E3 one last time and see what games Game Critics chose as their top titles. The biggest suprise to me personally was seeing Dice’s new title, Mirrors Edge, taking the Best Original Game ahead of LittleBigPlanet. Though LBP fans shouldn’t be so sad since their title picked …

A Saints Row developer has been chatting to Videogamer.com about all things Saint Rowish and the discussion of trophies obviously came up as well. Dan Sutton, the developer, has said that Sony have been pushing developers to give the PS3 version of games some exclusive trophies and not to just mimic the current Xbox 360 achievements. Now honestly I don’t …

Everyone was taken by suprise when Phil Harrison quit Sony earlier this year just as the PS3 started to get into its stride. After years of abuse you would think that he would have enjoyed having a bit of time to revel in the PS3’s success. But instead he quit without reason in early February and joined Infogrames instead. However …

Hot New Skate 2 Footage

By Nick De Bruyne

Finally! We got our hands on some footage for the sequel to EA's Skate. I became a huge fan of the first game as it's controls and pace were a refreshing change after way too many years of Tony Hawk rehashes. The video shows off some hot new features that will be included in the sequel including the ability to get off your board and walk, do hand-plants and even push objects around to create your own setup. If you haven't tried the first game out and have nothing but the remotest interest in skateboarding, you should check it out. It's great to see that some development houses understand what gamers are looking for in a game and then doing it.

By Philip Dunkley Okay, so in a month where releases are few and far between, there was always a ray of hope shining through the drought, a rose amongst the thorns (or lack of them) if you will. That title was Soulcalibur IV, and it’s a title that many have been anxiously waiting for. So, does it meet up to …

A tipster has sent Kotaku a lovely little piece of information (and some pics) showing what looks to be the release date of Rock Band 2. Of course the way things are looking locally we will be lucky if we get our hands on the first Rock Band before the rest of the world is playing the sequel. The release …
